The licensing process is rigorous and involved. To help, here are the steps each clinician must take in order to apply for a KLPC license.

Step One – Demographics
  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Live in or be employed by the state of Kentucky
Step Two – Educational Requirements Step Three – Religious Endorsement Step Four – Supervision
  • Complete 1,375 hours of supervised pastoral counseling
  • Complete 250 hours of clinical supervision
Step Five – Application Step Six – Examination
  • Pass Written Examination
